New acquisitions: research and subscription

The Eastern Europe Collection of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek is one of the most comprehensive and important of its kind in the world. Every year it increases by around 20,000 internationally acquired volumes in the print sector alone. In addition, there are numerous electronic media publications.

Use the service “New books and more on Eastern Europe” to keep up to date with the latest additions to your FID library from and about Russian, East and Southeast European Studies!

Search directly for topics, regions or periods over a specific acquisition period. Or use the subscription function to receive regular email notifications about new acquisitions. You can receive a complete list of all newly acquired media or make an individual subscription selection. Of course, it is also possible to define multiple subscriptions in relation to diverse areas of interest.

As a rule, all of the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek’s new acquisitions on Eastern Europe are available throughout Germany via interlibrary loan, with the exception of particularly rare holdings, such as valuable manuscripts.
