Belarus Elections 2010-2016

The following four databases with digitised ephemera of the most recent parliamentary and presidential elections in Belarus are available free of charge throughout Germany:

Content

The four databases contain the following ephemera and documents which comprehensively document the election procedures in Belarus:

  • Laws and regulations governing the conduct of diverse elections;
  • Documents of the State Electoral Commission;
  • Official election documents of the candidates: CVs, reports on finances and campaign financing, lists of supporters;
  • Candidate campaigning material: Flyers, brochures, posters, postcards, calendars, stickers, election and party programmes, election newspapers;
  • Primary polls and official final election results;
  • Reports from election observers, such as OSCE or CIS;
  • Candidates’ reactions to the election results;
  • Material denouncing rigged election results.

All documents are available in digital form and can be searched in full text.

 

Access information

The offer is available throughout Germany and at German institutes abroad via the system of national licenses. At academic libraries and research institutions, users can access it without any special registration. Interested persons without access via a home institution may register for private access if they have their permanent residence in Germany. Please follow the individual registration steps at https://www.nationallizenzen.de/ind_inform_registration. Once you have registered, you will receive your personal access data by post.

Germany-wide access is made possible within the framework of the Specialised Information Service for Russian, East and Southeast European Studies  at the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek with funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG).
