The Virtual Library Eastern Europe (ViFaOst) was replaced by osmikon

Dear visitor!
Since 20 June 2018 the Virtual Library Eastern Europe (ViFaOst) is offline. From now on you will find all offers of ViFaOst on osmikon, the new research portal on Russia, East and Southeast Europe.

With osmikonSEARCH, the "Search" section continues to provide you with a comprehensive search tool for finding research literature and materials on Russia, East and Southeast Europe. In five further sections you will find a variety of additional information and services for your scientific work on this region.

The novelties

osmikon has been completely revised graphically compared to ViFaOst, the previous contents have been rearranged in six categories and supplemented by further offers. Technically, the new research portal was developed in a responsive web design so that it adapts flexibly to the size of the screen and can thus be used comfortably on smartphones and tablets.

We look forward to your feedback! Please write to us at osmikon(at)bsb-muenchen.de
